How do I order?

We offer a simple and stress free ordering service

Step 1: Purchase your Impression Kit online (you can enter a different delivery address if going direct to your funeral director for example) or by phone.

Step 2: Capture your loved one’s fingerprint (easy to use instructions inside kit). Your funeral director or midwife can do this for you.

Step 3: Consider your choice of pre-paid product and see if friends and family also wish to order at preferential rates

Step 4: When ready, download your order form, complete and post with your impressions

Step 5: Allow 2-3 weeks for your item(s) to be hand-made, custom finished and returned to you by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery

You may be able to purchase our Impression Kit direct from your Funeral Director, clergy or celebrant if they are a stockist or of course you can purchase 24 hours a day using our shopping cart online. All Kits ordered from The Lasting Impression Company are posted by Royal Mail First Class post the same day direct to you, your midwife or funeral direct if preferred. They should be received in your next first class postal delivery. International orders will take longer and this will depend on your country.

The cost of your Impression Kit includes all postage, two impression moulds with simple instructions and one finished jewellery item of your choice – choose from a ladies pendant, men’s pendant/dog-tag, bracelet, key ring, cufflinks or bookmark. However we can make anything – if what you are looking for is not here please contact us. If at a later date you decide to change your product over to something else (for example, a bookmark into a pendant) then we will be happy to help you.

All products are the same price to make life easy for you and enable you to confirm your product choice later. Simply download and fill in your order form with your choices of product, shape and inscription when you are ready to post your impressions back to us. Additional products from the same fingerprint impression can also be purchased by/for friends and family at preferential prices – orders must be placed at the same time to benefit from this saving.

Your choices for each and every product ordered can be the same or completely different – we offer a comprehensive and bespoke service.

You can use our Paypal shopping cart online which is 100% secure (you do not need a Paypal account and will not incure any additional charges) or we accept most personal credit and debit cards including Mastercard and Visa and Visa Delta over the phone. Please note we do not accept Business Mastercard, World Mastercard,Premier Mastercard, American Expresss or JCB.


The delivery of your Impression Kit is generally within 24-48 hours as we use Royal Mail Fist Class post and post out your kit on the same day as your order is received.

You do not have to return your impressions and order form immediately, but when you are ready a stamped addressed envelop is included in the impression kit for your convenience, to return to The Lasting Impression Company. Please download the order form from our website’s homepage. This can be emailed or posted if you prefer.

Once your order form and impressions are received, your items will be custom crafted by hand to your exact requirements. This takes time and we aim to get your jewellery back out to you within 2-3weeks. Your finished jewellery will be returned to you via Recorded Delivery for your piece of mind – a signature will be required. This Royal Mail service is not insured. If you wish to upgrade your order to Special Delivery (insured) please refer to your order from.

Each jewellery item and keepsake comes beautifully presented in a branded gift box.
